Syrcusand Maze
Syrcusand Maze is a Rock/Metal/Alternative band from Montreal.
The design of the site is based on the band's logo which is quite extraordinary. Since we had such an interesting design to work with, we decided to turn the logo into the site's navigation system. The system consists of a maze with glowing dots inside it. Each time the mouse pointer hovers over the dot, it's label appears. When a dot is clicked, a brief loading screen pops up and slides down to the requested page. The image below demonstrates how we integrated custom scroll bars to scroll down to the content.
The site has no administrative control panel, however the members of the band update show information and add media. Apart from the stylish design, the site is also equipped with an mp3 player that plays a playlist of music as visitors navigate the site. Visitors may also watch videos of the band and browse the photo-gallery.
